This page summarises how Eden Homecare 247 Ltd’s family introductory service works. The individual written agreement supplied before booking contains the full terms and takes priority if there is any difference.
Our role
Eden is an introductory agency. We help families identify independent, self-employed care professionals whose experience and availability may match the family’s stated requirements. Eden does not employ the independent carer for the family, direct the day-to-day support or provide a regulated domiciliary care service.
Before contact or a meeting
A family must complete the required enquiry and booking steps, accept the written introductory agreement and pay the applicable Eden introduction fee before Eden releases direct contact details or arranges a meeting with a proposed carer. Exact introduction fees are confirmed privately before payment.
The family and independent carer
The family and carer agree the working arrangements, duties, schedule, ongoing carer rate and payment directly. Carer rates start from £18 per hour and vary according to needs, location, experience, timing and availability. The family is responsible for deciding whether the proposed arrangement remains suitable.
Checks and suitability
Eden reviews information relevant to an introduction, which may include identity, right to work, DBS status, references, experience and training evidence. Checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee future conduct or that every carer will be suitable for every person.
Changes and replacement introduction
Subject to the written agreement, Eden offers one reasonable replacement introduction where the first proposed match does not proceed or ends within the stated replacement period. Urgent and complex-needs matching is subject to availability and does not guarantee a particular start time.
No bypassing Eden
Families and carers introduced by Eden must not arrange contact, meetings or work outside Eden’s booking process in order to avoid the agreed introduction fee or other written terms.
